The environment is so calm and gorgeous that it’s easy to dig in to writing, keep at it all day and evening, and then feel like you’ve had a vacation. I am very grateful for the space – mentally and physically – to edit and develop pieces, work on sequencing my next chapbook, and start some new poems. Being at Valleyview solo was wonderfully quiet, calm, restorative, and productive.”
